Foul-Weather Warning Flags
Unlike the rest of the flags which are usually displayed by ships, the flags below are generally used by ports, marinas, and Coast Guard stations. The people on shore hoist these flags to indicate foul-weather conditions and urge any vessels at sea to take precaution measures as fast as possible.
Small Craft Warning (winds up to 38 mph)
Gale Warning(winds 39-54 mph)
Storm Warning (winds 55-73 mph)
Hurricane Warning (winds 74+ mph)
